Who We Are
First Assembly of God's initial services took place in a building that originally belonged to the Central Christian Church which began in 1893 at First and Main. The structure was built mostly with locally mined granite, and in 1983 the members constructed a sanctuary to the left of that historical address.
Since that time, First Assembly has experienced a rich history of senior pastors. Pastor Kenneth Womack, Pastor Justin Bauer, and our current Lead Pastor, Bob Weis have all brought their own unique blends of leadership to the church over the last 35 years.
During the past several years under the leadership of Pastor Bob Weis, the church has added a coffee bar, updated the sound system in the sanctuary, remodeled and updated the Children's area, and has added a Sunday morning class designed for today's young married couples. Not to mention, our youth program has grown from an average attendance of 30 to more than 60 weekly; and the Children's program has grown to more than 50 weekly.
Reflecting on our past and present brings us to one simple conclusion - our future will only be more exciting. The heartbeat of First Assembly is to share the love of Jesus Christ with boys and girls, teenagers, and adults in the Marble Falls area and beyond.
We invite you to join us and become a part of what God is doing through First Assembly. Our priority is to help lead each individual into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
